My first comic book cover...one of the greatest moments of my geek life!!!

So what the hell does BATMAN hafta do with all of this? I did the cover for DETECTIVE COMICS #776!!!!! That's a BATMAN comic to all the uninitiated. That's right. When I got the call and they offered me the gig I almost fell over. Never in a million years did I think I'd get a chance like that. I had to follow up Andrew Robinson and Bill Sienkiewicz! In the grand scheme of things...doing a cover for a BATMAN title is highly coveted. And here I am, some guy that draws skulls and types out a few band names, gets a chance to contribute to one of the coolest characters around. Somebody up there decided to cut me a break. After agreeing to do it. I did my little dance and got right on it...cuz I wanted it to be my best effort. I wanted to knock the socks off of anybody that had feet. Judging from what the editors at DC said I did just that. I'm usually modest about the projects I do...but this...man..I can't help but be excited about it.
