Prelim sketch for the DEFTONES poster. I intended to cover the character in tattoos so I did some sketches on vellum to see how they would work with the overall composition. This was my take on their self-titled album "Deftones" which has one of my favorite songs "Minverva". The character in the poster is based on that song.
